☁️ P.S. Looking to personalize the way you see your assignments? I encourage you to play around with views and filters to find what works best for you! It’s also a great way to get more comfortable with Notion’s features.

☁️ an idea: if your class has units of content, try creating new tabs to look at one section at a time.

1. click the plus (+) next to “class 1 assignments” to open a new view
2. select the database called “assignments in list” > “class 1 assignments
3. create a new property by clicking the plus (+) to the right of “type”
4. choose to make it a “Select” property and name this “unit” (or anything you want!)
5. click your new property on the table header > “Edit property
6. under “Options,” add all the unit titles
7. go back to the “class 1 assignments” > click the three dots > unhide the “unit” property by clicking the eye icon
8. on this same tab, designate the unit for each assignment
9. then, go to the tab you made earlier and select “Filter” (look for the three horizontal bars in an upside-down triangle shape in the upper right)
10. choose the “unit” property and your first unit
11. to make more views for other units, click on the tab > “Duplicate” > “Filter” > “unit” > select the second unit > repeat for all units
